Dance It Out Studios is here to make a difference in the dance community. We want to see our dancers grow their talents as well as their ability to work with other dancers. We want them to learn discipline and hard work, but also learn to love dance and learn life skills that will help them go far in life.

Our Director’s Story

I started dancing when I was 3 years old. My training started in Ballet, Jazz and Baton. I continued studying with various studios where I worked on my Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Cheer skills. In High School I was exposed to Contemporary and Ballroom dance. I went on to Weber State University taking ballet, fitness and nutrition classes. I coached a high school drill team for 8 years. At that time I also began judging dance and drill competitions. I have been a certified Utah High School Activities Association judge for over 20 years where I have judged multiple region and state competitions in Utah and Idaho. I have continued teaching for various studios throughout Northern Utah for the last 20 years and judging various studio competitions throughout Utah and Idaho. I have worked in the Special Education department for the Box Elder School District for the last 9 years. In 2019 an opportunity opened up for me and my husband and I decided it was a good time for me to take on my own studio. I want to use my years of training, my life experiences and passion for dance to help young kids learn and grow.
